Darrel Johnson comes from a family of artists and painters who have worked in art and architecture for generations. He earned an AAS degree in Architectural Technology and during his career grew to love his work in architectural design and renderings. After having a successful career Darrel retired to the Hill Country where he has focused his energy on local urban scenes and capturing the beautiful landscapes of the Hill Country. November Artist of the Month: Roy Smith
Roy Smith was born in Gonzales Texas but has made his home in Buchanan Dam. His art is inspired by nature and the sport of fly fishing. Roy enjoys painting the Texas hill country with his wife, Jo, and their Golden Doodle, Tanner. He has developed his representational style of oil painting through self study and workshops from some of his favorite landscape artist.
