Our Gallery

Discover the work of 70 talented local artists showcasing original pieces in oils, pastels, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, mixed media, and ceramic pottery. Many of our members are award-winning artists and experienced instructors, bringing exceptional skill and creativity to every piece.

Our gift shop offers an inspiring collection of one-of-a-kind finds, including handmade jewelry, stained and resin glass art, hand-sewn and quilted items, and beautifully crafted pieces in fiber, glass, and wood. You’ll also find a wide selection of unique art cards—perfect for gifting or keeping.

Our History

The Highland Arts Guild began in 1971 when a small group of local artists in Marble Falls decided to come together simply to paint and support each other’s work. What started informally in a garage soon grew into an organized group dedicated to promoting art in the community.

Originally called the Highland Arts and Crafts Guild, the name was changed in 1976 to the Highland Arts Guild to reflect a broader focus on the visual arts.

In 2021, the Highland Arts Gallery was thrilled to have celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Our Mission

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to inspire a deeper appreciation for fine art by bringing engaging exhibitions, hands-on workshops, and live demonstrations to both our members and the public. We enrich our community through inclusive programs for all ages—from seniors to children—while making original art accessible, meaningful, and a vibrant part of everyday life.
