Judy is a native of the Texas Hill Country. She returned in 2002 after living 35 years in the Houston area.
She lives south of Bertram with her husband, Bus, a couple of dogs, some chickens and a small herd of cattle.
As a child she liked to draw but did not pursue painting until she was an adult. She has taken classes and workshops to improve her skills from numerous artists.
Judy believes that her gift to create is from God and with that gift, God sets an expectation to develop it by asking, "What will you do with your gift?"
The desire for developing her gift has given Judy the drive to persevere and keep picking up that brush.
