The Texas Hill Country is the subject of most of the paintings by artist Jane Price. From the wide sweep of windows in her Lake LBJ home, she sees the hills, oaks, rocks, and Packsaddle Mountain. This expanse provides the constant inspiration to put these elements on canvas. A deep love for the color blue and a fascination with the natural beauty of bluebonnets make them a feature in most of her works.
Jane became a member of the Highland Arts Guild in 1978. She has held every office in the Guild over the years and is currently serving as President.
