​​Judy is a native of the Hill Country and returned to the area in 2002 after living 35 years in the Houston area. 

​She lives south of Bertram with her husband, Bus,dogs, chickens and cattle. As a child she liked to draw but did not pursue painting until she was an adult. 

She has taken classes and workshops to improve her skills from numerous artists.

Judy believes that her gift is from God to create but with that gift, God sets the expectation of "what will you do with your gift?" Developing this gift has taken many hours of perseverance and the drive to keep picking up that brush.
