Rhonadale "Rhoni" Harris was born in San Francisco and grew up in the central valley of California. She has been interested in art for as long as she can remember. When her husband retired, she joined the Highland Arts Guild in Marble Falls, Texas. She has since taken workshops from professional artists at the nearby Fredericksburg Art School, studying under nationally recognized artists including Peggy Kroll Roberts, Gregg Kreutz, Carolyn Anderson, William Schneider, Jean Chambers and David Leffel.
Rhoni enjoys experimenting with various mediums and trying different techniques. Pastels, colored pencils, acrylics and watercolors can be fascinating, but painting in oils remains her favorite. Teaching drawing classes in her studio has also been rewarding.
Rhoni says about her art, "Learning about art is a life-long, thoroughly engaging journey. I will always be searching to improve my skills and attempting to express my true artistic spirit."
