HIGHLAND ARTS GUILD AND GALLERY

Member Gallery

Born and raised in Odessa, Texas, I realized my love for arts and crafts as a young child. Being Native American of the Jicarilla Apache, my art deeply reflects the culture of my people.

I studied Art History and Design at Odessa College where I learned that my preferred medium was acrylic, but I also work in oil, inks, pencil and Prisma Color.

In crafts, I enjoy making jewelry, both traditional native as in bead working, as well as more contemporary styles with both Native and non-Native themes.

I moved to Marble Falls in July of 2014 as a retirement place for myself and my husband. Discovering the Highland Arts Guild has provided me with a place to create my art and display it, and for this I am grateful.
