Living in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida in the early 1980's, the beauty of the ocean and sugar-coated dunes and beaches gave Ludo a reason to begin painting spontaneously and as a hobby. She began painting seascapes. Since then, painting has been a continual learning process and an opportunity to contemplate God in the beauty of His creations.
Ludo is originally from Peru, South America where she received her Teacher's Degree and taught for several years in Lima. She came to the U.S. in 1971 and has resided in Meadowlakes, Texas since 1995. That same year she became a member of the Highland Arts Guild in Marble Falls. Her principal medium is oils. She paints still lifes, florals, seascapes and landscapes; her favorite being the splendor of the Hill Country. She has studied under such accomplished artists as Ken Moore, Linda Neuensch, Ruth Pierel Phillips and Kim Roberti.
