I have enjoyed making crafts since I was 5 years old. I have 2 children who are artists, and many people say that they take after me.  That made me think.

When we retired, I thought I would try my hand at painting. I joined the Guild in April 2015 and began taking lessons. I was hanging my paintings by that fall.

In the past, I have sold collectible Santa figurines that were sold at Nordstrom's. I have also sold crocheted blankets and other assorted items. I continue to work on needle pointing, counted cross stitch, ceramics and sewing, along with my painting.
