I have been painting since I was a child. My parents, being the practical people they were, thought painting was nice but having a "real job" was better. They encouraged my art, but insisted that I study something that would provide an income, like teaching.

My husband and I have lived in Marble Falls for several years. One of the many reasons we feel lucky to live here is the art exhibited around Marble Falls and the Hill Country. They are beautiful places and inspire all kinds of creativity.

You can see my art at the Highland Art Guild and Gallery in Marble Falls and The Ritzy Texan in Burnet. I teach a watercolor class every Wednesday at the Gallery, give private lessons, do workshops, work with the VFW through their art scholarships for high school students, and I am the Chairperson for Special Events at the Guild.

I truly enjoy sharing my love of art with others and believe there is art in everything.
